Plastic Recycling
Improved sorting and
purification of plastics
In the last 40 years, a broad range of technologies and processes have been developed to improve chemical recycling of waste plastics. Separating recycled plastic waste by density separation is an efficient way of sorting a wide range of plastics such as PP and PE. Density separation is a promising new process to remove high amounts of contaminants and impurities.
This provides feedstocks clean enough for the petrochemical industry. By this means the recycled and cleaned plastics can be processed into new plastics materials and permits the recycled materials being incorportated into chemical commodities. Some factories use chloride products (Saltosil-MC) to achieve density differences in the solution tank, today more and more non-chlorine ingredients, such as our Saltosil-Mg are being used.
Saltosil-Mg
is the chlorine free alternative density separator for perfect plastic waste recycling.
Saltosil-MC
is the best choice to easily reach the highest density for separation of plastics. It is the most economic way to produce solutions with the highest density up to 1.31 kg/m3.
